Lead Training for awareness and abatement

EOCT-MI offers 2 hour awareness training for employees who have the potential to come in contact with lead hazards during the course of their work day.  We also offer 8 hour Advanced Lead Awareness that will allow work in commercial demolitions or other non-child occupied facilities.  This class does not qualify your employees for certification for lead abatement in child occupied facilities.

If you are involved in removing paint   containing Lead or any other source of Lead from residential or child occupied facilities, your employees must be properly trained .  Improper removal can result in injury to your employees, to building occupants and perhaps to members of the general public.  

Abatement of lead based paint from residential structures must be conducted by workers who have MDHHS/HUD/MSHDA approved training.  We offer 24 (hr) worker and 32 (hr) supervisor training.  If you are in need of this type of training, contact our office and we will be happy to set up a lead worker or supervisor course that will fulfill the requirements.
